Origin Notes

Strawberry comes first — fresh, bright, and unmistakably natural process. Red fruits follow, layering depth without heaviness. Caramel holds everything together through a finish that's sweet without being cloying. This is a coffee that rewards patience: the more you slow down with it, the more it gives back.

The Story Behind your cup

In Marcala, Alba Marina Parada and Francisco Javier Bautista have spent decades tending Parainema and Obatá trees at 1,650m with the steady care of producers who measure success in harvests, not quarters. Nacimiento is their farm — and increasingly, their daughter Yojana's future.

It's Yojana who handles the natural processing, overseeing the drying patios with the precision of someone who grew up watching her parents pour everything into this land. What she produces carries both generations: her parents' deep roots in Marcala's terroir, and her own instinct for pushing the coffee further.

The result is a cup that tastes like the farm itself — fruit-forward, honest, and full of life. Every bag of Nacimiento is a family decision, made one careful harvest at a time.

Meet our Farmer

Yojana Bautista

Yojana grew up on these drying patios. Today she runs them — monitoring every batch with the attention of someone who knows this land by hand, not by instruction.

Her parents, Alba Marina and Francisco Javier, built the farm. Yojana is what the next generation looks like.

Brewing Suggestions

"This natural process is something we've refined as a family, harvest after harvest. Strawberry, red fruit, caramel — it's all here."
